Stardom???

Why should I give a shit about what movie Ann Hathaway is making next? Why do I care how she worked so well with this actor or that? Does she give a flying crap that I worked 14 hours embalming and restoring someone who was run over by a train and the family wants to say goodbye one more time? What makes their job so Goddamn important to us that we feel the need to follow their every fart, meal, affair, car crash and drunken encounter? It's absolutely insane. People in this World are working hard to truly help and change it for the better. Working hard to make a mark. Working to save a life. Working hard. Where are their cu dos? The recognition goes to those who we perceive as famous. Those that we are told are famous. Told by such trusted "news" agencies as Entertainment Tonight, Entertainment Weekly, The National Enquirer and a variety of other rags that brag about these overpaid douche bags. Where are the publications telling the stories of the true heroes of our nation? The ones like you and I. The hard working Joe's who work our asses off everyday to earn enough money to get by. We stop at a car accident to help, we give money to the Salvation Army even though we can't afford it, we give food and time to the soup kitchen, we give our time, treasure and talents because we want to. We don't do it because it is a photo op and my publicist thought it would be good considering I got caught with drugs last week. Next time you get caught "star gazing", think again. Think again who the real stars are in this World are. Not the ones you see on the screen, but rather the one's paying for the ticket's and walking into the theater.
